
Rights in Poland for the top-tier Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Tour have been snapped up by the Eleven Sports subscription broadcaster for the next 2027-31 rights cycle.
The tie-up, unveiled today and signed with the tour's WTA Ventures commercial vehicle, will see Eleven Sports air all WTA 1000, WTA 500, and WTA 250 events, as well as the season-ending WTA Finals through 2031.

The new agreement comes on the back of Polish tennis star Iga Swiatek (24) being recognized as one of the best female players in the world, having won six Grand Slams in her career so far.
The WTA has said that Eleven Sports' coverage will include studio shows, as well as on-site reporting "from the biggest matches and tournaments."
Not included in the deal are the four annual Grand Slam tournaments or WTA tournaments held in Poland, as well as the United Cup mixed-gender teams competition.
Marina Storti, WTA Ventures' chief executive, has now said: "With three Polish women in the world’s top 50, led by six-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek, Poland has become one of the most passionate homes of our sport."

In the newly created role, Chanderli is now leading the development and execution of the WTA’s media rights strategy and managing its relationships with global broadcasters, digital platforms, and other media partners.
WTA Ventures, which oversees the commercial and media rights operations of the women's tennis tour, was established in March 2023 as part of a strategic partnership between the organisation and the CVC Capital Partners fund.
Krzysztof Świergiel, CEO of Eleven Sports, added: "This is an important milestone in the development of our portfolio, as we welcome the prestigious WTA Tour – a competition enjoying immense and ever-growing popularity in Poland – to our programming line-up."
In terms of other significant tennis rights deals in Poland, the 2025 edition of the hard-court US Open Championships grand slam in New York – that took place across August and September – was shown live by Warner Bros. Discovery-owned EuroSport, and by WBD's discovery+ streaming platform.
