TNT Sports, the Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD)-owned US sports broadcaster, has struck a new partnership with global OTT service DAZN, drawing from the latter’s significant portfolio of boxing rights.

The agreement will see the launch of ‘The Fight’, a monthly boxing event that will be broadcast on DAZN and TNT Sports platforms in the US, co-promoted by the two media companies alongside DAZN’s portfolio of boxing partners, which includes major promotions Matchroom, Queensberry, Golden Boy, and Top Rank.

TNT Sports will showcase the fight nights on its US linear networks, including TruTV (which will host ancillary content), with additional supporting content on its Bleacher Report and House of Highlights digital channels, while DAZN will serve as the global streaming home of the event series.

This partnership will also include cross-promotion, marketing, and ad sales, covering ‘The Fight’, other pay-per-view events, and subscription content.

This will begin on July 4, 2026, with the first edition of the event series, although details are still to be announced.

Speaking on the agreement, DAZN Group chief executive Shay Segev said: “DAZN’s partnership with TNT Sports is an important new chapter for boxing in the U.S.

“By bringing together two leaders in sports media and collaborating with the world’s top promoters, The Fight will deliver unprecedented access to major fight nights to boxing fans nationwide. This collaboration creates attractive commercial opportunities. It reflects our innovative approach to distribution and our shared ambition to grow the sport by making the biggest events in boxing more accessible than ever before.”

This is not the first time DAZN and TNT Sports have interacted in the media rights space.

Back in March 2025, TNT struck a sub-licensing agreement with DAZN for the FIFA Club World Cup soccer tournament.

A year later, FIBA Media, a joint venture partnership between basketball’s global governing body and DAZN, brokered an agreement that granted TNT the rights to  FIBA’s top-line international competitions through 2029, including this year’s 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, and the 2027 FIBA Men’s Basketball World Cup.

DAZN has often expressed its ambition to serve as the ‘global home of boxing’, and recently reaffirmed that commitment through a new multi-year renewal with Golden Boy Promotions, ensuring that it has consolidated the rights to the sport’s four biggest promoters: Matchroom, Queensberry, Golden Boy, and Top Rank.

Back in February, DAZN extended its Matchroom rights agreement, covering the UK and the US, for the next five years, having first struck a deal with the promoter in 2021.

Queensberry joined DAZN for the first time in April 2025 on a multi-year deal, finally uniting it on the same broadcaster as rival Matchroom after years of acrimony.

Top Rank also finally agreed a broadcast deal with DAZN earlier this month, despite founder Bob Arum previously stating his public dislike of the streaming platform.
