Pay-TV heavyweight BeIN Sports will continue to showcase North American basketball’s NBA across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) after extending its broadcast partnership with the elite competition.
The renewal builds on the pair’s long-standing partnership, which started in 2008, and will see BeIN continue to air up to nine regular-season games per week, the playoffs, conference finals, and finals.

The broadcaster will air games in Arabic, English, and French, across its linear BeIN Sports channels and OTT platform.
The last renewal between the pair was struck ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season and included exclusive rights to more than 400 live NBA games.

By GlobalDataThe renewal consolidates BeIN’s extensive basketball portfolio, which includes NBA rights in France – also to air up to nine regular-season games per week, including tentpole events such as the league’s Christmas Day games and All-Star game, as well as select playoff fixtures, the finals of each conference, and the season-ending NBA finals.
BeIN has held the rights to the NBA in France since 2012, and the league has a significant interest in the country, thanks in no small part to the growing number of French players competing, illustrated by the league’s annual efforts to stage international games in the country.
Overall, BeIN is the official broadcaster of the NBA in 23 countries.
Earlier this month, meanwhile, BeIN France secured a four-deal deal with global basketball body FIBA to cover all major tournaments, including the 2026 women’s and 2027 men’s editions of the FIBA World Cups, qualifiers for those tournaments, and the regional men’s and women’s EuroBasket (2029).
That deal came off the back of BeIN, also showcasing much of FIBA’s EuroBasket men's national team basketball tournament in August and September.
The NBA 2025-26 regular season began on October 21 and will end on April 12, 2026, with the playoffs running between April and May.
