The quarterly revenue figure was also an improvement on the guidance for Q3, which had revenue only coming to $260 million.
Both the group's revenue segments saw income rise YoY in Q3.
The 'betting technology, content, and services' arm experienced a 33.4% revenue rise, to $152.9 million, while the 'media technology, content, and services' wing brought in over double what it did in Q3 of 2025 – $116.9 million as opposed to $51.6 million.
The rise in media revenue was primarily down to Genius' acquisition of sports gaming media enterprise Legend in February of this year, with the transaction potentially valued as highly as $1.2 billion.
Even though Genius did still record an overall loss for the quarter, this narrowed to only $15.7 million, having been $28.8 million during the equivalent period last year.
Mark Locke, founder and chief executive at Genius Sports, commented: "Our predictable betting business, expanding media capabilities, and growing opportunities in prediction markets position us to capture greater value from the data, technology, and infrastructure we have spent 25 years building."
Group adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation, and amortization) came to $87.1 million during Q3, meanwhile, up a substantial 156.4% from the prior year.
In terms of significant Genius activity during Q3, mid-September saw the company launch a new prediction markets platform to expand its offering in this growing space.
Genius also partnered with prediction market firms Kalshi and Polymarket in Q3.
More recently, in late October, Genius renewed and expanded its partnership with Argentine soccer's AFA governing body, in a move that will see 'semi-automated offside' technology introduced to the country's domestic top-flight Primera División.
