UEFA today announced that Premiere has been awarded the exclusive Pay TV rights for the UEFA Champions League in Germany for the next three seasons after a lengthy sales process conducted by UEFA’s marketing partner TEAM.
Premiere will broadcast all games live as well as highlights on both Tuesday and Wednesday and a magazine programme.
Premiere has been a much-valued partner of the UEFA Champions League for the past three years with a strong record of promoting the competition and their continued commitment and extensive coverage reflects the enduring strength of the UEFA Champions League in Germany.
Free to air rights were previously awarded to ProSiebenSat1, who will show one match per matchweek on either Tuesday or Wednesday evenings on Sat1. This match will also be broadcast simultaneously on Premiere.
