World’s Top Minigolfers to Compete on 36-hole Minigolf Course Layout in Bad Münder, Germany
The WMF World Minigolf Championships will be taking place in Bad Münder, Germany from the 21st to the 24th of August with players from 26 countries competing on the two 18-hole courses.
In total 150 players and 28 Nations will play on the Miniaturegolf and Feltgolf formats of Minigolf Sport. The event is supported by the City of Bad Münder and the German Minigolf Sport Federation.
The four-day WMF World Minigolf Championships are organised by the World Minigolf Sport Federation and defending champions Germany and Sweden will be joined in action by competitors from Austria, Belgium, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Kosovo, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, R.O.C. Taiwan and Thailand.
The finals of the tournament will see champions crowned in team, strokeplay and matchplay categories for both male and female players.

Live results can be followed online during the championships. For the first time in minigolf history LIFE internet broadcasting of the finals will be organized.
The reigning World Champions are Germany (women’s) and Sweden (men’s), winning the titles in Stockholm, Sweden in 2011.
