A new monthly magazine aimed at Olympians and Olympic fans across the globe will debut in January 2002. The World Olympian Magazine makes its debut as the foremost publication by the WOA about the lives and times of its Olympian members.

Produced by Pachyderm Press the World Olympian Magazine will offer a wide variety of articles for people of all ages, from middle school teenagers to elderly
Olympic enthusiasts.

The content will include in-depth articles on world famous Olympians, coverage of world-wide Olympic news, detailed reports on the 2002 Olympic Torch Relay and the XIX Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City, features on the National Olympic Committees, and previews of the upcoming Olympic sites such as Athens, Greece and Turin, Italy.

Writers and photographers from across the globe will be contributors for the magazine. World Olympian magazine will eventually have worldwide distribution and will be produced in multiple languages by the end of 2002. English and French editions of the special February Olympic issue will be given to the Olympic athletes in Salt Lake City and the Olympians Reunion Center visitors.
