LAUSANNE, Switzerland – 7 February 2018 — The Gwangju 2019 Organizing Committee for the 18th FINA World Swimming Championships has appointed Burson-Marsteller Sport as its official international communications agency. The FINA World Swimming Championships are scheduled for July 12 to August 11, 2019 in Gwangju, South Korea.

To build momentum in the lead up the event, Burson-Marsteller Sport will provide the Gwangju 2019 team with a broad range of consulting and communications services, including outreach to the international media as well as social and digital media engagement.  The goal will be to raise awareness and enthusiasm for the FINA World Championships globally.
