Sportway, the production and live streaming firm based in Stockholm, has entered into a partnership with the Czech Ice Hockey Association.
The deal will entail Sportway installing live-streaming systems into 50 arenas in the country initially, which “will have the technical infrastructure to offer seamless live streaming of games".

The partnership with CIHA represents the first large-scale installation of Sportway’s technology outside the Nordic region.
Sportway, together with its production partner Live Arena, will capture all the action for live streaming using unmanned cameras, with the footage gathered set to be linked with the various CIHA digital platforms.
This collaboration will enable real-time graphics and data to be generated, and the tie-up also allows for replays and match highlights.
Clubs in the CIHA structure will also be able to take advantage of the Sportway partnership.

By GlobalDataSportway has already has partnerships with the national ice hockey associations in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway, having installed similar live-streaming systems in venues in those countries.
Daniel Franck, Sportway’s chief executive officer, said: “Our partnership with the Czech Ice Hockey Association is an opportunity to marry their progressive approach to showcasing hockey and our industry-leading technology systems, which will ultimately better serve CIHA teams, players and fans.
“We're proud that the Czech Republic represents our first project outside of the Nordics, as we continue to gain momentum.”
In January, Sportway secured SKr14 million ($1.7 million) from Geltis, the Swedish private investment company, existing investors and a group of individuals.
The firm, which launched in 2014, said it will use the funds to move into sports such as basketball, volleyball, floorball, handball and other indoor sports.
