SYDNEY, March 15—-The Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) has sent out a warning to their
swimmers if they decide to wear the new drag reducing bodysuits. AOC President John Coates reminded swimmers that any issues that could arise from the new swimsuit would be directed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport which is the arbitrating body for the Olympic Games and not the FINA the international swimming federation.
Other swimmers technically could question the results of the bodysuit wearing opponents.
The new drag reducing full body suit has been designed by Speedo, sponsor for the Australian team and the official swimsuit supplier, and already Australian world record holders Ian Thorpe and Michael Klim have expressed their intention to wear the new shark printed bodysuit.
