Beachvolleyball for 2002World University Championships!

Some of the 2002 World University Championships were attributed during the Beijing Executive Committee meeting: Cross-Country to the city of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), Women’s Handball to Valencia (Spain), Triathlon to Nanao (Japan), Chess to Beer-Sheva (Israel) and Karate to Puebla (Mexico). Following the proposition of the French University Sports Federation to host a World University Championship in Beachvolleyball in Guadeloupe, FISU accepted to include this sport in the list of the World Championships as well as to integrate Floorball in his program.
