Disciplinary Hearings took place today under Ice Hockey UK’s Doping Control Regulations at which two players received the following sanctions: Daryl Venters (21) of British National League team Fife Flyers tested positive on the 11th December 1999 for the Stimulant: Amphetamine He admitted the offence and has received a four month ban. He will be eligible to return to the sport on 18 May 2000. The committee comprised: Rod Bexton, Chief Medical Officer Neville Moralee, Director Richard Stirling, Director Greg Burke (30) of Ice Hockey Superleague Club London Knights tested positive on the 16th December 1999 for the Stimulant: Ephedrine He has received a three game ban from the date of his suspension and will be eligible to return to the sport on the 6th February 2000. The Committee Comprised: Rod Bexton, Chief Medical Officer Neville Moralee, Director Brian Storey, League Secretary, Ice Hockey Superleague Both players have the right of appeal.
