26 September 2005,  Singapore – ESPN STAR Sports, Asia’s number one sports broadcaster has concluded agreements with three new affiliates in Cambodia, further expanding its distribution coverage and list of partners across Indo-China. The agreements mean that more viewers in Cambodia now have access to ESPN STAR Sports’ top flight sports programming on ESPN and STAR Sports, through STAR Cable TV and Sunday Cable TV in Siem Reap and Banteay Mean Chey Cable TV in Banteay Mean
Chey Province.

The deals bring the total number of affiliates in Cambodia to five for ESPN STAR Sports, including previous distribution deals with Cambodia Cable TV and Phnom Penh Municipal Cable TV.

ESPN STAR Sports has been bringing world class sporting action to Indo-China since 2001, expanding its distribution in countries like Vietnam and Myanmar among others.

The agreements will give viewers in Cambodia access to some of the world’s top international and regional sporting events including the English Premier League which began its 2005/2006 season in August. They will also be able to watch FA Cup matches, England Home Team matches, complete golf coverage including the LPGA Tour, PGA Championships and Senior PGA Championships and the most comprehensive motor racing coverage in Asia featuring the new A1 Grand Prix as well as Formula 1 and MotoGP.

ESPN STAR Sports’ distribution reaches out to 134 million households for ESPN and over 59 million households for STAR Sports.
