On the occasion of the sponsoring of the violet jersey of the GIRO d’Italia (19th May-10th June) EurosportNews, the multimedia sports information channel began its distribution in Italy via the Telepiu satellite platform on 15th May.
EurosportNews has been launched initially in English and will be available in ‘full’ Italian version (commentary + texts) on 1st September.
The success story of EurosportNews continues. EurosportNews is now present in 36 countries.
The EurosportNews Polish version, only six months after its launch, is already beating more established news channels such as CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg and Euronews in terms of audience
The launch of EurosportNews in Italy to over 1 million subscribers brings the total distribution of the channel to 4 million subscribers.
