FIFA Executive Committee Meeting in Zurich On 16 and 17 March
Under the chairmanship of FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter, the FIFA Executive Committee will meet in Zurich on 16 and 17 March 2006. This will be the last meeting before the Exco members gather in Munich (4-5 June) a few days prior to the kick-off of the 2006 FIFA World Cup™.
The agenda of this meeting includes:
· Task Force for the Good of the Game: reports on the three working groups (“financial matters”, “political matters” and “competitions”)
· the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany™ and other upcoming FIFA competitions
· FIFA Disciplinary Code: tightening sanctions against racism
· ethics and fair play
· project “To win in Africa with Africa”
· International Football Association Board: report on the Annual General Meeting held in Lucerne (Switzerland) on 4 March 2006
· 56th FIFA Congress to take place in Munich on 7 and 8 June 2006
· FIFA standing committees: reports on the meetings held in February and March
