Following the decision of the Professional Cycling Council (PCC) to grant 20 UCI ProTour team licenses for the 2005 season, the Licenses Commission has today retained the following candidates on a provisional basis:

SA Vendée Cyclisme (FRA)

Ciclosport Srl (ITA)

Bici Club Azzurro Srl (ITA)

This completes the contingent of 20 licenses attributed on a provisional basis to this day, and underlines the success of the UCI ProTour with cycling investors.

In the case that these teams should meet the requirements imposed for the period ending in November of this year (bank guarantee, list of riders, etc.), and that actual conditions remain unchanged until this deadline, the Commission will confirm the provisional decisions taken today by attributing them a UCI ProTour license.
