Infront Sports &Media and the Austrian Ice Hockey Federation (ÖEHV)have agreed a strategic co-operation in respect of the organisation of the 2005 IIHF World Championship Austria to be hosted in the cities of Vienna and Innsbruck.

This agreement leads to the establishment of a jointly owned and managed local organising committee (LOC)for the event.
Infront,the exclusive television and marketing partner to the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF)and its
premiere event,the IIHF World Championship,has been in discussion with both the IIHF and the ÖEHV for some
months,with the objective of creating a joint-venture that will allow the experience of previous IIHF World
Championships to be carried forward and offered to each local organising committee in turn.

The co-operation with ÖEHV will be the first such venture for Infront and permits the company to offer its
commercial expertise across areas of the event organisation.
In particular,international sponsors will be integrated into local marketing opportunities more effectively.Also,
Infront ’s Event Solutions Division,which specialises in on site services,will make its expertise available to
the LOC.

Dr Dieter Kalt,who is President of OEHV and also of the LOC for the 2005 event,said:’The agreement opens the

experience in the run-up to the event’.
