The Japanese company Enkei, manufacturer of street and racing wheels, announced at the United States Grand Prix the extension of its contract as Official Wheel Supplier of the successful West McLaren Mercedes Formula One team. The agreement extends the relationship between the two companies well into the new decade. Enkei has been official supplier of McLaren since 1995, and it has engaged in this partnership to obtain technological feedback and prestige through participation in the world’s most prestigious motorsport racing series.

Enkei develops wheels for the West McLaren Mercedes Team made of high-resistance forged magnesium alloy to increase vehicle performance and ensure the best competition conditions. The wheels are manufactured at Enkei’s Racing Wheel division in Italy. In addition, to supplying wheels for the West McLaren Mercedes team every year, Enkei works closely with the engineers of the team to provide assistance in the continuous pursuit of excellence in performance.
