Mediafed are currently producing a series of podcasts around the World Cup in conjunction with the Daily Telegraph.

The podcasts are recorded as live on a daily basis from the Red Lion Pub in Great Windmill Street, Soho at 12 noon. The Daily Telegraph provides the podcast for download at 15.00 from their online site and iTunes. The podcast series will run every weekday for the duration of the World Cup.

Guy Ruddle, The Daily Telegraph’s Podcast Editor, commented: “Arguing about football is what pubs are for. It seemed only right to bring the best football brains from the world of journalism and deploy them to the frontline for the duration of the World Cup”.

Andrew Drummond, Mediafed’s World Cup Podcast Producer commented “Mediafed wanted to produce an alternative view of the World Cup and in Kevin Day, the comedian and broadcaster, found the perfect foil to the quality reporting provided by the Telegraph.”

Mediafed are providing subscriber metrics for downloads in conjunction with Nedstat, which will include iTunes users.
