Morris to Be Acting Chief Executive at ECB

England and Wales Cricket Board Chairman, David Morgan, today announced that from Friday 1 October 2004, until such time as the new Chief Executive takes up his position, Hugh Morris, ECB Performance Director, will act as ECB Chief Executive while John Carr, ECB Director of Cricket Operations, will take over Tim Lamb’s responsibilities in connection with the International Cricket Council and IDI (ICC Development International).

The current Chief Executive, Tim Lamb, leaves his post at the ECB on Thursday 30 September.
