Motors TV to Broadcast All BTCC Events Live in 2003

Motors TV is very proud to announce it will broadcast all BTCC events LIVE in 2003.

The deal, secured with Granada Sport, will enable UK and European viewers to access the very best of British Motorsport.

The BTCC is widely considered as one of the top touring-car championships – as confirmed by Tony BAINES, Controller of programming and development for Granada Sport : ‘The racing is always of the highest standard with plenty of action from start to finish. Grid interviews and behind the scenes coverage will enable viewers to get closer to the personalities of the drivers and to savour the tension before a big race start.’

Frédéric VIGER, Motors TV Head of Programming, adds : ‘We wish to bring Motors TV expertise into BTCC coverage and commentary. The BTCC is a major step in our aim to offer the British audience the very best from European and world motorsport.’

On a BTCC race-day, Motors TV will give a new boost to British motor sport by providing Live coverage for the entire event, beginning with the Sprint Race through to the end of the meeting and including the support-races.

In addition to BTCC, Motors TV also secured a deal to offer LIVE coverage of the german serie DTM, desserving more than ever it’s new moto : ‘High Speed Television’.
