Padel's first-ever Hexagon World Series (HWS), starting in late January in Madrid, will conclude in Abu Dhabi in October, it has been revealed today.
This comes after the announcement in December last year that the International Padel Federation's Hexagon Cup, originally a team competition backed by a range of global sporting stars, will now turn into a worldwide circuit of events.

Following the series launching in the Spanish capital of Madrid, between January 21 and 24 (to be title sponsored by Generali), it will then head to North America in March and Scandinavia in June, before the four-event season comes to an end with a finale in Abu Dhabi in October.
This was all unveiled at the official launch of the inaugural Hexagon World Series, in Abu Dhabi.
HWS was originally slated to begin in 2026 but was pushed back to next year, which the organizers said was due to “the international scale and ambition of Hexagon World Series, together with the work required to build a robust and sustainable structure across multiple markets.”
The specific countries and cities set to host the North American and Scandinavian events will be unveiled soon, the sport's governing body has said.
Up until this point, the Hexagon Cup – which held its first edition in early 2024 – has been a short single tournament taking place each year in Madrid, but will change, thanks to a partnership struck by the event's organizers with the International Padel Federation (FIP) governing body, and with worldwide sports and entertainment agency 54.
The 54 agency, involved in the creation of the controversial LIV Golf rebel series a few years ago, invested and partnered with Hexagon Cup to launch HWS.
This will become the first team padel series to be launched under the FIP's governance and will be integrated into the body's calendar.
The sport's authorities are currently attempting to boost padel's chances of being included in the Olympic program and will hope that this addition of a top-tier teams-based series is a step towards doing that.
HWS will take place alongside the existing Premier Padel circuit (played by pairs, not teams), and will add multiple events per year across new international locations.
