North American basketball’s NBA has announced a new multi-year regional partnership with IM8, the health and wellness supplement brand.

The agreement makes IM8 the official nutrition partner of the NBA in Australia, as well as eight markets across Southeast Asia, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Through the tie-up, the brand will conduct a series of NBA-themed marketing campaigns and fan engagement initiatives across the nine markets.

In 2027, IM8 will also host an activation at NBA House, one of the league’s signature events.

IM8, which launched in December 2024, is owned by health company Prenetics and was co-founded by soccer icon David Beckham.

Its roster of athlete ambassadors includes NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, grand slam tennis champion Aryna Sabalenka, and Formula 1 driver Ollie Bearman, who are also investors in the brand.

Earlier this year, Major League Soccer franchise Inter Miami agreed a sponsorship deal with IM8 and took an equity stake in the business.

Danny Yeung, CEO of Prenetics and co-Founder of IM8, said: “A few years ago, IM8 was an idea David Beckham and I sketched out together, with one ambition: to build a global health brand backed by the credibility of the world’s greatest athletes.

“Today, we’re standing alongside the NBA, the most iconic league on the planet and the most powerful sports brand in the region. Together, we’re bringing IM8 to approximately 660 million people across Australia and Southeast Asia, pairing large, basketball-loving communities with a growing demand for premium health and wellness, as IM8 continues to expand globally.”

Since launching almost two years ago, IM8 claims to be the fastest-growing supplement brand in recorded industry history, supplying over 57 million servings of its products to more than 800,000 customers in 46 countries.

IM8 projects revenue between $210 million and $220 million in 2026.

Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic have extended their jersey patch sponsorship deal with Walt Disney World.

As part of the renewal, the Disney logo will remain on all Magic uniforms throughout the upcoming season.

The Orlando-based theme park will continue its ‘Champion of the Community’ sponsorship with the NBA franchise, a partnership which began in 2010.

To mark the renewal, Disney and the Magic have also unveiled a new Walt Disney World Atrium at the team’s home arena, Kia Center.

The Magic will begin their 2026-27 NBA season against the Atlanta Hawks on October 21.
