The partnership will be activated through exclusive in-game, retail, and player activations, NHL tentpole events, influencer and social content, and digitally enhanced dasherboards.

Degree and the NHL will also collaborate on additional programming and fan experiences, which will be announced throughout the season.

The tie-up with Degree is the NHL’s second sponsorship deal to be unveiled in as many days after bringing in live scores-based digital platform Sofascore as a new global partner.

The league has been extremely active in recent weeks, announcing a significant number of new commercial partnerships. These include tie-ups with Black Box Wines, software giant Adobe, Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), and food delivery service DoorDash.

The 2026-27 NHL regular season began last week and will conclude in April ahead of the Stanley Cup playoffs. The campaign will end with the Stanley Cup Final in June.
