ESPN, the Disney-owned international sports broadcaster, will remain the US home of the TGL team golf competition after renewing its media rights deal with organizers TMRW Sports.
The multi-year extension has been struck ahead of the 2027 season, which begins on December 27 and runs through March 25.

ESPN has served as TGL’s US broadcast home since the league’s debut season in 2025.
Rufus Hack, president of golf at TMRW Sports, said: “ESPN has been the ultimate partner in helping establish TGL, combining unparalleled promotion, reach, and sports presentation.
“We believe deeply in the power of partnerships, and this extension reflects our shared ambition to take TGL to new levels while continuing to elevate the competition, storytelling, and fan experience.”
TGL, which has been a six-team competition in its first two seasons, will expand to seven for the upcoming campaign with the addition of Motor City Golf Club.
The teams, made up of top PGA Tour players, will again compete at the purpose-built SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
TGL was founded by icons Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy through their TMRW Sports entertainment venture in partnership with the PGA Tour.
Rosalyn Durant, ESPN’s executive vice president of programming and acquisitions, said: “TGL has given golf something genuinely new, with top PGA Tour players competing in a fast-paced, made-for-primetime team format that puts fans closer to the action than ever before.
“Our extended agreement ensures we will continue to showcase the best players in the game and continue the momentum of the league's first two seasons together.”
Earlier this year, TMRW Sports announced the launch of the women’s WTGL in partnership with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA).
Also taking place at SoFi Center, the inaugural season will begin on November 8 and feature teams of LPGA Tour players competing across a season of team match play.
The league features five founding teams that share names with their men's TGL counterparts: Atlanta Drive GC, Boston Common Golf, Los Angeles Golf Club (LAGC), Motor City Golf Club, and New York Golf Club.
