In addition to the branding and media rights package, FFF will continue to be embedded within a selection of esports events alongside other licensed national associations.
Konami has had a partnership with the federation since 2022.
Shinji Namekawa, Konami Digital Entertainment’s European president, said: “France’s rich football heritage and global prestige make this a highly valuable collaboration.
“As eFootball continues to grow as a platform for football fans around the world, we’re proud to build on our collaboration with the French Football Federation and find new ways to bring supporters closer to the game.”
The Japanese developer’s soccer portfolio also includes licensing deals with major European clubs such as AC Milan, Arsenal, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, and Manchester United, as well as the top-flight J.League domestically.
