The top-tier Premier Padel tour and the International Padel Federation (FIP) governing body have appointed sports technology firm Sportradar as their betting integrity partner as the two organizations work to establish a new betting framework for the sport ahead of the 2027 season.

Under the partnership, Sportradar will provide monitoring and integrity services across professional padel, working alongside Premier Padel’s recently announced agreement with iGaming Media, which covers betting technology and distribution.

The two agreements form the base of a new betting framework for the sport, with regulated sportsbooks able to access betting products covering more than 2,400 matches across the men’s and women’s Premier Padel tour, using in-venue data and live streaming from the 2027 season.

As part of the agreement, Sportradar will deploy its Universal Fraud Detection System, which uses AI alongside analysis to monitor global betting activity and identify suspicious patterns.

The sports technology company will also provide training and education programs focused on integrity risks and prevention throughout the tour.

Andreas Krannich, executive vice president of integrity services at Sportradar, said: “We are proud to partner with Premier Padel and FIP, and support the protection of their competitions through our market-leading UFDS AI and Integrity Education.

“By combining advanced technology, extensive betting-market visibility and specialist integrity expertise, we will help identify potential risks at the earliest opportunity and strengthen the integrity framework around the sport worldwide.”

The agreement also adds to FIP’s existing integrity program, which includes collaboration with the International Olympic Committee on preventing competition manipulation and membership in the World Anti-Doping Code.

The betting partnerships come as Premier Padel and FIP look for new commercial opportunities, with the pair stating that revenues generated through the partnerships will be reinvested into players, events, fan experiences, and the wider development of the sport.

Premier Padel chief executive David Sugden added: Padel’s incredible growth is creating significant new opportunities for the sport, and with that comes a responsibility to make sure that growth benefits its long-term future.

“Partnerships like this generate revenues that we can reinvest in the professional game, our players, our events and the fan experience, helping us continue to develop the sport and its ecosystem around the world.”

The new partnership adds to Premier Padel’s recent commercial activity, having brought in the Ten Toes agency as its lead digital marketing agency.

Under the agreement, Ten Toes will be responsible for delivering a content and channel strategy that will enable the padel tour to both grow and engage its worldwide supporter base. It will also oversee campaign planning and execution for key activations throughout the length of the deal.

In mid-July, Premier Padel announced a new long-term partnership with Fanatics, the international e-commerce and merchandising giant.

Through the multi-year agreement, Fanatics has been named as a master licensee of the competition, covering e-commerce, in-venue retail, wholesale, product, and memorabilia.
