Benfica, the top Portuguese soccer club, have renewed their long-running kit supply deal with German sportswear giant Adidas until 2033.
The six-year extension continues the longest-standing partnership of this nature in Portuguese soccer.

The Primeira Liga club’s current contract with Adidas, a six-year renewal signed in 2021, was due to expire at the end of the current 2026-27 season.
Sportcal understands the new deal is worth €20 million ($23 million) per year, totalling €120 million.
Benfica players have worn Adidas kit for over 30 years, with the only break coming in the early 1990s when the club sealed kit deals first with Danish firm Hummel, and then with Olympikus, a Brazilian brand.
In addition to the kit supply deal, the new agreement will see Adidas take naming rights to the club’s training and development center, which will become the Adidas Benfica Campus.

“The naming of the Adidas Benfica Campus further strengthens this connection and recognizes the strategic importance of a space that is fundamental to the club’s present and future.”

Benfica’s commercial portfolio also includes a long-standing shirt sponsorship deal with Dubai-based Emirates Airlines.
This deal was extended in 2024 to run until 2029.
The Lisbon-based outfit is one of several major European clubs kitted out by Adidas, alongside Real Madrid, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Juventus.
Benfica are unbeaten in their opening six Primeira Liga games, winning five and drawing one, and currently sit second, two points behind Porto.
