The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) governing body has secured a trio of associate commercial partners for its next two home seasons.

Indian beverage brand Campa, life insurance firm SBI Life, and popular AI-based product ChatGPT will all serve as sponsors for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 home international series played by the country's national teams.

The agreements have a total value of more than $13.6 billion over the two seasons. According to the governing body, this represents a 44% increase on the value of the equivalent commercial deals in the last cycle.

Mithun Manhas, president of the BCCI, commented: "The big increase in the combined value of these partnerships is particularly encouraging. It reflects the trust that leading brands have in the reach, engagement and commercial potential that comes with being associated with BCCI."

Devajit Saikia, honorary secretary of the cricket body, added that the trio of new partners "represent three very different and exciting categories, and their association highlights the diverse opportunities that our home season offers."

The BCCI is still on the lookout for a title sponsor for home national team matches, having first put those rights up for sale on July 20, with an initial deadline for submissions of August 13.

Late last month, however, it was reported that no bids made by that latter date matched internal BCCI valuations or the base price.

IDFC First Bank has been the BCCI's partner in this capacity since August of 2023, when it replaced credit card heavyweight Mastercard.

The first games covered by the new commercial cycle will be a one-day international series against the West Indies, set to begin on September 27.

The 2026-27 season will see the Indian men's team play home series against the West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Australia.

The primary sponsor for the Indian men's and women's national teams, meanwhile, is Apollo Tyres, which slotted into that position through a deal announced last September, again running until the end of the 2027-28 season.

Elsewhere in the BCCI's sponsorship portfolio, late March saw the Kingfisher bottled water brand and the governing body expand their tie-up to include the iconic domestic Indian Premier League (IPL) Twenty20 competition through the 2028 campaign.
