Sporteurope.TV, the German sports streaming service, will be the exclusive home of the US Open grand slam in Germany and Austria through 2030 after agreeing an early extension of its rights deal with the United States Tennis Association (USTA).
The platform will have exclusive free-to-air and pay-TV rights for the 2028-2030 three-year period.

Sporteurope.TV, previously known as Sportdeutschland.TV, will also retain non-exclusive pay-TV rights in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein and South Tyrol.
The deal was brokered by IMG, the USTA’s international media rights partner.
The new agreement covers live and on-demand coverage of the tournament, including all matches from the qualifying rounds through to the singles, doubles, and junior competitions.
Sporteurope.TV’s existing US Open deal was not due to expire until the end of the 2027 edition.
The streaming service, which was created by the German Olympic sports federation (DOSB) in 2014, has held US Open rights in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) since 2023.
Since 2024, Sporteurope.TV has sublicensed rights to pay-TV heavyweight Sky Deutschland as part of a content-sharing agreement.
In terms of other top-tier tennis rights in Germany, Sky Deutschland recently retained the ATP Tour in the DACH region through 2033.
There is strong German interest in Alexander Zverev, who won his first 'Grand Slam' major at this year’s French Open and is among the top contenders at the ongoing US Open.
Kirsten Corio, chief commercial officer of the USTA, said: “Sporteurope is a long-standing and strong partner of the US Open, and we are very pleased that this collaboration is continuing.
“Sporteurope reaches an important audience of passionate tennis fans, and we look forward to the many opportunities to work together to further enhance coverage of the sport and the US Open in the years ahead.”
