The European Handball Federation (EHF) has agreed a licensing deal with Dyn Media, the German sports streaming platform, to distribute content from all EHF club competitions to media partners worldwide.
From the 2026-27 season onwards, the EHF Marketing arm will take direct responsibility for the international media distribution of its club competitions after the governing body prematurely ended its 10-year contract with sports marketing agency Infront late last year.

Through the new agreement with Dyn, the Dyn Media Content Desk platform will distribute the EHF Champions League, the EHF European League, and the EHF European Cup across both the men’s and women’s competitions.
Under the tie-up, EHF Marketing's media partners will access match highlights, video assets, and other dedicated content directly through the Dyn Media Content Desk.
The platform will also serve as a central hub for selected content contributed by clubs and other EHF club competition stakeholders.
The Dyn Media Content Desk is a cloud-based content management and distribution platform that enables rights holders to deliver video content, highlights, and editorial assets to media partners.
The platform is already in active use across Dyn’s domestic partner network in Germany, where leagues, clubs, and broadcasters retrieve and redistribute content through their own channels.
With this agreement, EHF Marketing claims to have become the first major pan-European rights holder to distribute editorial content across its full international media partner network through a single integrated platform.
The organization’s media partners across Europe and beyond, spanning more than 30 countries, will be able to access ready-to-publish content directly, covering all EHF club competitions and serving local audiences.
The multi-year deal takes effect immediately, with content to be made available to EHF-accredited media partners through the Dyn Media Content Desk portal across all three EHF club competition tiers.
David Szlezak, managing director of EHF Marketing, said: “Taking direct responsibility for the international media distribution of our club competitions also means rethinking how we service our broadcast partners, clubs, and players.
The Dyn Media Content Desk gives us the infrastructure to make content available faster, more centrally and more flexibly across different markets and platforms.
“This is an important part of our new setup – together with Dyn Media, we are creating a more efficient distribution ecosystem that helps our partners tell the stories of European club handball in their respective markets.”
The long-term commercial agreement between EHF Marketing and Infront concluded on 1 July 2026. The agency's contract to sell media rights to EHF’s club competitions had been due to run until 2030.
The deal with Dyn further expands an existing partnership, as the OTT platform serves as the media rights partner for the EHF club competitions in the DACH region until 2030.
Andreas Heyden, CEO of Dyn, added: “International visibility in handball is no longer built on rights alone. It is built on infrastructure.
“Making content from all EHF club competitions available to media partners in over 30 countries through a single platform – that is what turns broadcast reach into genuine editorial presence. This agreement is a milestone for how European handball content travels.”
