Combine business intelligence and editorial excellence to reach engaged professionals across 36 leading media platforms.
The platform will combine free content with exclusive subscriber-only programming. Asobal TV will have its own website and will also be integrated within the league’s existing digital ecosystem.
As well as live content, the platform will incorporate other audiovisual content to expand its offering.
The move comes after Asobal’s rights agreement with LaLiga+, the OTT platform owned by that top-flight Spanish soccer league, ended in May.
The Asobal TV service will be available with two subscription options. The monthly plan will cost €5.99 ($6.91), while the annual plan will be priced at €49.99.
Until September 10, an annual plan will be available for €29.99. Meanwhile, season ticket holders of the 16 participating clubs in the 2026-27 season can sign up for an annual plan for €23.99 using a discount code provided by their club.
Access to the platform will soon be expanded with an app for Android and iOS devices as well as connected televisions via Chromecast and AirPlay.
In terms of its global broadcast output, Liga Asobal recently hired sports technology giant Sportradar to manage the international marketing and distribution of its audiovisual rights.
The agreement also includes the management and use of the competition's official data.
The tie-up is part of Asobal’s growth and internationalization strategy, as the competition seeks to strengthen its global profile and expand the reach of its content in new markets.
