Heavyweight international sports marketing agency Sportfive has struck a partnership with the ProEnter sports agency in Argentina, as it moves to make that territory a country of focus.
Sportfive announced the expansion of its Argentinian operations, as part of its wider Latin American growth plan, earlier this week.

The agency plans to work with both Argentinian and overseas clients in the market, around media rights, sponsorship, consulting, commercial development, hospitality, fan experience, and new business, it has claimed.
The deal with ProEnter, meanwhile, will entail the two parties working together to "identify and develop specific projects," with ProEnter having a deep knowledge of the Argentinian sports market.
Eduardo Borges, president of Football Americas at Sportfive, commented: "Argentina is a priority market for us, and we aim to build long-term relationships with clubs, leagues, federations, brands, and media partners. At the same time, we are excited to collaborate with ProEnter on specific projects where both organizations can contribute complementary capabilities and generate greater value for our clients."
Diego Avila, ProEnter executive director, added: "We are very pleased to collaborate with Sportfive on opportunities where the combination of capabilities and international experience can generate greater value for the Argentine sports industry."
Up to this point, Sportfive's Latin American presence has been nowhere near as substantial as its European and Asia-Pacific operations, while the agency is also currently looking to expand in North America.
In terms of the agency's recent activity, overall, mid-July saw Sportfive and Tennis Australia announce a new deal, through which it will become the tennis body's lead agency partner for Europe (and for Italy, specifically).
Sportfive also made public a tie-up with French Ligue 1 soccer side Le Havre last month.
