Spanish men's soccer's top-tier will continue to be shown in South America – excluding Brazil – by a combination of ESPN and DSports, for the next six years.
A renewal agreement between those three organizations was unveiled yesterday, covering the following territories: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

The tie-up extends across the 2026-27 to 2031-32 period.
The previous deal between LaLiga, Disney-owned ESPN, and DSports (run by DirecTV), ran between mid-2020 and the end of the 2025-26 season earlier this year.
LaLiga is extremely popular across Spanish-speaking South America, a region that provides the 20-team league with a significant number of its best-known stars.
Current top-tier South American players plying their trade in LaLiga include Argentina's Julian Alvarez (Atletico Madrid), and Uruguay's Fede Valverde (Real Madrid).
The deal has been announced with the 2026-27 LaLiga campaign set to get underway this coming Saturday, August 15.
Javier Tebas, the colorful and controversial president of LaLiga, has said: "The renewal with ESPN and DSports until the 2031-32 season allows us to continue a relationship with two partners we know very well, who understand the value of LaLiga, and who have the experience, reach, and editorial capacity necessary to bring our product to fans in the best possible way.
"We are very pleased to continue growing alongside them and to ensure that fans in the region can continue enjoying our clubs, players, and great rivalries."
Bruno Zurlo, The Walt Disney Company's general manager of networks and sports for Latin America, added: "LaLiga has a passionate fanbase throughout the region, and this expansion allows us to continue offering its iconic clubs, world-class players and unforgettable rivalries through ESPN, both on its linear channels and through the Disney+ Premium plan.”
Elsewhere, the top Spanish league has extended its deal with the Sport Klub broadcaster in Croatia and Slovenia, through 2029-30.
Sport Klub will cover all 380 games per season from LaLiga for the next four campaigns.
Atletico Madrid and Slovenia goalkeeper Jan Oblak is the most prominent player from those two countries currently in LaLiga.
Over recent weeks, LaLiga has unveiled media rights deals in France (a combination of Disney+ and DAZN), and China (Migu).
Domestically, meanwhile, the majority of LaLiga games are split between DAZN and Telefonica, through 2032.
