Portuguese soccer giants FC Porto have announced a three-year global partnership with XTB that will see the investment platform feature on the sleeve of the club’s shirts.

Under the agreement, which runs through the 2028-2029 season, XTB will also serve as the Primeira Liga champions’ official investment partner.

From the start of the 2026-2027 season, the XTB logo will feature on the sleeve of Porto’s men’s first-team shirts in domestic competitions.

The partnership will also include stadium visibility – including pitch-side LED screens and stand-mounted LED displays, external video walls, and visibility in the press room at Estádio do Dragão – digital activations and exclusive player content.

Omar Arnaout, CEO of XTB, said: “This partnership allows us to significantly boost our visibility in key European markets while deepening our connection with football fans.”

The XTB sleeve deal comes soon after Porto renewed their primary front-of-shirt deal with Betano, the sports betting brand owned by Kaizen Gaming, also through the 2028-29 season.

Earlier this year, XTB partnered with Italian Serie A outfit Napoli. Outside of soccer, the firm teamed up with global basketball governing body FIBA in a wide-ranging partnership.

Prior to that, the company's presence in international sports had been through partnerships with mixed martial arts leagues in Europe and brand ambassador relationships with athletes such as former Swedish soccer star Zlatan Ibrahimovic and several tennis players.

Meanwhile, German heavyweights FC Bayern Munich have agreed a new global partnership with Asia-based green energy company LONGi.

Through the agreement, the two parties will collaborate on joint initiatives, content, and fan-facing activities.

The tie-up was announced in Hong Kong during Bayern's tour of Asia.

The partners will explore opportunities to bring LONGi's solar solutions into the club's own sustainability efforts, with potential applications across training facilities and stadium infrastructure.

This marks LONGi's second major move into global sport this year, following its partnership with the Berlin Marathon.

Bayern, meanwhile, have been very active commercially in recent weeks.

Last month, the Bundesliga champions partnered with lighting company Ledvance and in late June, extended with major soft drinks brand Coca-Cola until 2034.

Bayern will begin their domestic campaign with the DFL Supercup clash against Borussia Dortmund on August 22 before starting the 2026-27 Bundesliga season at home to VfB Stuttgart the following weekend.
