Through a tie-up announced late last week, FSC events will be made available free-to-air around the globe.

The deal begins in time for FSC 37 in London on August 23, which will be streamed live and FTA.

Another two FSC events – in Manchester on October 17, and then back in London on December 19 – will also be broadcast live by DAZN.

Shay Segev, DAZN's chief executive, commented: "DAZN continues to invest in the best combat sports content from around the world, and FightStar Championship is a strong addition to our growing portfolio."

In terms of recent boxing rights activity from DAZN, in mid-July the broadcaster announced a deal with US promotion Premier Boxing Champions (PBC).

This global deal ensures PBC-organized fight cards will be broadcast worldwide on DAZN, with top-line pay-per-view events available exclusively via the 'DAZN on Prime Video' add-on to Amazon's own streaming service.

Kay Khan, managing director at FightStar Championship, added: "DAZN’s global reach will help us bring our events to more fans than ever before, while showcasing the exceptional talent competing across our roster. We are excited to begin this new chapter with FSC 37 and look forward to continuing our growth supported by the world’s leading sports entertainment platform.”
