Ahead of the 2026-27 Italian Serie A campaign, the top-flight soccer division’s sides continue to strike new and upgraded commercial agreements.

Italian soccer giants Internazionale Milano (Inter Milan) have announced a new commercial partnership with Spanish bank BBVA, which will serve as the club’s official sleeve sponsor.

Under the agreement, BBVA will feature on the sleeves of Inter Milan’s men’s and women’s first teams, the Under-23 and Under-20 squads, as well as Inter Legends.

As part of the deal, BBVA will also serve as the front-of-shirt partner of the club’s men’s and women’s youth academy teams, from Under-18s downwards.

The partnership will be activated through exclusive content, initiatives, and experiences as BBVA looks to boost its presence in Italy.

Walter Rizzi, head of digital banking at BBVA Italy, said: “This partnership reflects BBVA’s long-term commitment to the Italian market.

“Together with Inter, we want to combine the reach of one of the world’s most iconic football clubs with BBVA’s digital capabilities to deliver meaningful experiences, exclusive benefits, and bring our brand even closer to millions of people who share our values of innovation, trust, and excellence.”

The agreement adds to BBVA’s sport sponsorship portfolio, which also includes title rights for Mexican soccer competitions (Liga MX, Liga de Expansion MX, and Liga MX Femenil), a long-term naming rights deal for CF Monterrey’s stadium Estadio BBVA in Mexico (through 2030), and a long-running partnership with the Turkish Basketball Federation covering all national men’s and women’s teams.

For Inter Milan, the reigning Serie A champions, the partnership builds on the club’s recent commercial activity, most recently securing a new official water partner, Acqua Fiuggi.

Earlier this year, Inter Milan renewed their deal with blockchain-based fan engagement platform Socios.com, adding to their stable of other major commercial partners – including sportswear giant Nike (kit supplier), Coca-Cola (soft drink partner), and Betsson (front-of-shirt sponsor through 2027-28).

Inter have won three of the last six Serie A titles, three of the last five Coppa Italia knockout cups, three consecutive Supercoppa Italiana super cups between 2021 and 2023, and reached the UEFA Champions League final in 2024-25, firmly positioning the club as one of the most consistently strong in the typically unpredictable Serie A table.

Meanwhile, fellow Serie A side Como 1907 have upgraded their partnership with global fintech company Revolut, which will now serve as the club’s new front-of-shirt sponsor.

The new agreement will see Revolut feature on the front of Como’s men’s first-team shirts as they compete across the top-tier Serie A, domestic cup competitions, and pan-European UEFA competitions.

The agreement builds on Revolut’s existing role as Como’s official banking and FX partner, struck in July 2025, and the club will continue to use Revolut Business for supplier payments, banking services, and multi-currency foreign exchange transactions.

The new partnership will be activated through fan engagement, from exclusive ticket offers, co-branded products, merchandise promotions, and enhanced digital payment experiences across the club’s ticketing and retail ecosystem.

Deborah Wajsbrot, head of partnerships at Revolutsaid: Since launching our partnership, we’ve built a strong foundation, and this next step brings even closer two brands that share an ambition to challenge convention through innovation and a relentless focus on delivering exceptional experiences.

“By expanding our role, we look forward to embedding Revolut Business deeper into the club’s operations and redefining the fan journey through seamless, connected experiences that bring supporters closer to the club they love.”
