The chief commercial officer of English Premier League soccer champions Arsenal, Juliet Slot, has decided to step aside after a successful stint at the club.
Slot, who has spent almost five years at the North London heavyweights, has decided now is the right time to step away from the club, it has been reported by media – including The Athletic – over the past 24 hours.

Before arriving at Arsenal in December, 2021, Slot was the commercial director at Ascot Racecourse in the UK, while she had also spent time at fellow Premier League side Fulham, as well as at Great British Racing and Adidas.
She has also previously been a non-executive director for the British Olympic Committee.
During Slot's time at Arsenal, total revenues have reached record levels, while commercial income hit an impressive £263.2 million ($353.6 million) for the 2025 financial year (and is likely to increase again in 2026).
Her five years heading up the club's commercial operations have seen major sponsorship deals and extensions struck with the likes of Emirates (stadium naming rights sponsor and front-of-shirt partner), Adidas (kit supplier), Deel (sleeve sponsor), and Sobha Realty (training ground naming rights partner).
She was also involved in the decision to let the club's previous sleeve sponsorship deal – a controversial tie-up with Visit Rwanda – expire at the end of 2025-26.
That agreement was repeatedly criticized by human rights groups over the Rwandan government's support of rebel invasions into neighboring DR Congo.
It has also been reported that the Arsenal hierarchy has been aware of Slot's plans to leave this summer for some time.
In terms of recent club commercial activity, early July saw Arsenal unveil the Legends Global hospitality heavyweight as the new catering partner for their Emirates Stadium home venue.
Legends Global will deliver all matchday and non-matchday food and beverage experiences at the Emirates through its multi-year deal.
Since Arsenal's stadium opened in 2006, it has consistently been one of the soccer venues in the UK and Europe that brings in the most matchday and hospitality revenue, while a range of conferences and other events are now also held there.
In June, meanwhile, Arsenal and the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority tied up in a multi-year agreement.
