CAA says it will “enhance global brand exposure” and “drive demand for a broad range of integrated rights sponsorship packages connected to the sport.”
MotoGP claims over 650 million fans worldwide, and currently stages 22 annual races across 19 global territories.
Speaking on the announcement, MotoGP Group chief executive Carmelo Ezpeleta said: “This partnership marks a key step in delivering our commercial strategy – building on the strength of what we have already created and taking it to the next level.
“MotoGP already offers partners a powerful global platform, and with CAA – the best in the business – we are in a strong position to unlock even greater value, attract new categories, and deepen our relationships with brands worldwide.”
Paul Danforth, CAA managing director and the chief executive of CAA Sports, added: “MotoGP is a premium global sports platform with a loyal and highly engaged fanbase.
“The championship’s rapidly growing international profile offers brands a unique opportunity to connect with audiences through world-class competition, premium events, and year-round content. We are excited to work alongside the MotoGP team to help accelerate the next phase of its commercial growth.”
MotoGP’s roster of top-line official sponsors is made up of six prominent global brands: the Qatar Airways airline, Swiss watch brand Tissot, tyre giant Michelin, car manufacturer BMW’s BMW M brand, zero-alcohol beer brand Estrella Galicia 0,0, and logistics heavyweight DHL.
Of these brands, Estrella Galicia (Brazil, Spain), Qatar Airways (Great Britain, Qatar), Tissot (The Netherlands), and Michelin (France) are all the title sponsors of various races, while BMW is the series’ official safety car provider and DHL serves as its official logistics service.
Other event title sponsors on the MotoGP calendar include energy drinks Red Bull (San Marino, US) and Monster (Catalunya, Czechia), oil companies Pertamina (Indonesia) and Petronas (Malaysia), energy company PT (Thailand), motorcycle parts supplier Brembo (Italy), and lubricants businesses Motul (Japan, Valencia), Repsol (Portugal), and Liqui Moly (Germany).
Four grand prix races, in Australia, Austria, Hungary, and Aragon (Spain), currently remain without title sponsors, which may be a target for CAA in the new partnership.
Currently, after nine races of the 2026 campaign, Italian Marco Bezzecchi of Aprilia Racing sits atop the riders standings, with Aprilia Racing atop the team’s standings and Aprilia itself atop the constructors’ standings.
