The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) governing body has renewed its major commercial tie-up with German automotive brand Audi.
Through a deal extension beginning immediately and running through 2030 (the Olympic Games cycle), Audi will carry on as title sponsor for the FIS Alpine World Cup over that cycle, as well as a partner of the Alpine World Ski Championships.

As such, its branding will continue to be displayed prominently in the competition venues themselves, on TV broadcasts of the aforementioned events, and across "digital and online media coverage."
Johan Eliasch, president of the FIS, said: "This partnership has been built on trust, shared values, and a long-standing commitment to excellence. Audi has been a key partner in the continued growth and professionalization of Alpine Skiing, helping to elevate the visibility and global appeal of our sport worldwide."
Audi is also a sponsor of the German Ski Association.
Outside skiing, meanwhile, it runs a team in motor racing's iconic and lucrative Formula 1, and also has soccer tie-ups in place with top-tier clubs such as perennial German champions Bayern Munich.
The 2026-27 FIS Audi Alpine World Cup season begins in Austria in October, and runs through to its final event next March in the US.
