The Amazon Prime Video streaming service will once again offer coverage of a major women's cricket tournament for free to Australian fans.

Prime Video holds exclusive Australian broadcast rights to International Cricket Council (ICC) events via a deal that began in early 2024, which runs through 2027.

Now, the streaming service has unveiled that it will make all of the 33 games from the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup in England available for free to supporters in that market. Fans only need to use an existing Amazon account through an email or phone number – no payment is required.

This is the second time the streamer has offered up free content from an ICC women's event – it also did so last year, for the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup held in India.

Alexandra Gilbert, head of content at Prime Video Australia and New Zealand, commented: "Prime Video is proud to make the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 freely available to all Australians.

“We saw firsthand the passion for women’s cricket in Australia when we made the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 free for fans, and we’re committed to building on that momentum."

The Women's T20 World Cup will run between June 12 and July 5, and will be held across seven English venues.

In addition to the live Prime Video coverage, the service will also offer highlights packages of either 10 or 25 minutes in length, full match replays, and a recap feature for those fans who tune in when the game is already underway.

Australia – very much the dominant team in women's cricket over the last 15 or so years – were knocked out at the semi-final stage of the previous Women's T20 World Cup, back in 2024 (having won the previous edition).

In terms of other cricket rights in that country, home international fixture broadcasts are shared between Foxtel and Seven Network.
