The Amazon Prime Video streaming service has made its first entry into college sports through a deal with Duke University to present exclusive coverage of select basketball games.
Through a multi-year agreement, the streamer will present three marquee Duke Blue Devils neutral-site nonconference men's basketball games per season.

The series of exclusive top-tier matchups will begin the week of Thanksgiving and Black Friday, November 25, when Duke faces the Connecticut Huskies.
Prime Video will follow that up with coverage of Duke’s game against the Michigan Wolverines on December 21 and the Gonzaga Bulldogs on February 20, 2027.
All games will be produced by Prime Video, with exact times and other coverage details to be announced later.
Amazon’s first college sports relationship expands the retail giant’s sports offering in the US, which includes the NBA and American football’s NFL.

Major US sports network ESPN is the primary media rights partner for the Atlantic Coast Conference, in which Duke competes.
In partnership with ESPN, and in exchange for the flexibility to participate in this Prime Video series of nonconference games, Duke has committed to participating in select additional ESPN-owned and operated men's basketball neutral-site events across the 2027-28 and 2028-29 seasons.
The ACC has a 20-year rights deal with ESPN, which was agreed in 2016.
