The Denver Nuggets, of North American basketball's NBA, have extended their major commercial tie-up with digital marketing platform Ibotta.

The renewed agreement will see the brand continue as the team's jersey patch sponsor under a multi-year deal.

The tie-up comes ahead of the Nuggets' first-round series in the 2025-26 NBA playoffs, starting tomorrow (April 18) with a best-of-seven series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Ibotta logo will be present across every edition of the in-game and practice jerseys of the NBA franchise for the duration of this contract.

The original multi-year tie-up between the Nuggets and Ibotta – headquartered in Denver – dates back to October 2023, at which point the Colorado-based franchise were reigning NBA champions.

Other significant partners of the Nuggets include Bet365, PepsiCo, Toyota, and Verizon.

In terms of NBA franchises and their jersey patch partner deals, last month the Los Angeles Lakers formally opened the bidding process for a new jersey patch partner from the 2026-27 season onward, to replace outgoing sponsor Bibigo, the Korean food brand.

The franchise’s five-year contract with Bibigo, which began in 2021, is set to end after the current NBA campaign, and the team is now inviting bids for the next campaign and beyond.

The offer has been described by the franchise as a “category-defining sponsorship,” which will give one brand “high-visibility, premium brand placement and recurring, high-volume exposure with the Lakers.”
