Foxtel Business will offer premium sports content from BeIN that includes Spanish soccer’s top-tier LaLiga, Italy’s Serie A, the German Bundesliga, England’s EFL and Carabao Cup, alongside tennis from the ATP and WTA tours, Davis Cup, and Billie Jean Cup.
The live sports will be available in pubs and clubs in Australia for the first time in six months. Foxtel Business is available in more than 4,000 pubs and clubs in the country.
BeIN’s live content was previously distributed to commercial venues in Australia by Screach, the UK-based sports streaming and venue marketing platform.
Foxtel adds BeIN to its vast sports portfolio, which includes the Fox Sports and ESPN channels – AFL, NRL, Formula 1, Supercars, cricket, golf, Netball, NBL, NBA, MLB, and the NFL.
Steve O’Connor, managing director of Foxtel Retail, Wholesale, and Commercial said: “This partnership is a major win for licensed venues. Foxtel Business customers can now choose to add BeIN Sports to their account without the need for any costly additional equipment or disruptive set up.”
John Armitage, country manager at BeIN Sports, added: “We are delighted to bring BeIN Sports back into Australia’s pubs and clubs through Foxtel Business, whose extensive national reach and deep experience across licensed venues make them the ideal partner to deliver our lineup of premium European football and tennis at scale.”
