He will now oversee Kings League’s preparation for its US launch from New York, where the organization is building its regional staff.

The organization plans to create US versions of both its Kings League men’s competition and Queens League women’s competition.

Before joining Kings League, Muoser had stints at basketball’s NBA and Cabot, the golf destination hospitality operator.

Djamel Agaoua, CEO of Kings League, said: “David has been brilliantly leading our preparation for launch in the US, and we are delighted that he will now spearhead our work in-market.

“His expertise in business expansion strategy will be invaluable as we bring Kings League's revolutionary soccer product to the US. Kings League is a dynamic, digital-native, entertainment-focused version of the sport that is tailor-made for American audiences, and we are very excited about its potential in the market.”

Muoser added: “We are very excited about Kings League’s potential in the US, and it’s an honor to lead the venture. With the growing appetite for soccer and the world’s strongest creator economy, it’s an incredible prospect.

“Kings League’s version of soccer – optimised for entertainment and online engagement – has redefined sports entertainment in seven major regions already, and American fans are going to love it.”

The news comes soon after Kings League secured $63 million in funding after the close of an investment round led by the Alignment Growth investment company.

The investment will support Kings League’s global expansion, which has seen seven international leagues launched in under three years.

This funding round also included further backing from existing investors, including Left Lane, Antifund, Bolt Ventures, and founding company, Kosmos.

After launching in Spain, Kings League now has seven domestic men’s competitions globally. The concept has expanded across Europe (France, Germany, Italy), and further afield (Brazil, Mexico, the Middle East and North Africa), with women's editions in Spain and Mexico, following suit, as well as annual club and national team ‘Kings World Cup’ tournaments.

In January, Kings League hosted the second edition of its Kings World Cup Nations tournament in Brazil, capturing over 120 million cumulative livestream viewers across its 40 games, with the showpiece final drawing 41,316 fans to Sao Paulo’s Allianz Parque.

In a busy start to 2026, Kings League renewed its top-line global partnership with sportswear giant Adidas earlier this week for another three years.
