BeIN Sports, the international pay-TV heavyweight, has struck a new extension to its broadcast partnership with motor racing’s elite Formula 1 (F1) series across a range of Asian territories.

This renewed deal ensures that BeIN Asia Pacific will maintain the rights to F1 through the 2030 campaign, and will disseminate broadcasts on its primary BeIN Sports linear networks and the BeIN Sports Connect streaming app.

The deal covers the following countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Timor-Leste (East Timor).

Alongside elite F1 action, the partnership also includes coverage of the secondary Formula 2 and tertiary Formula 3 categories, the all-female F1 Academy series, and the Porsche Super Cup stock car racing tour, all of which serve as support races to the F1 campaign.

Of particular interest to this deal will be Singapore, which hosts the annual Singapore Grand Prix, and Thailand, owing to Thai driver Alexander Albon, who races for the Williams team, while Indonesia is also a strong motorsports market.

Speaking on the agreement, BeIN managing director for Asia Pacific Mike Kerr revealed: “Formula 1 audiences on BeIN Sports have delivered consistent double-digit year-on-year growth over the past three years, underscoring the sport’s growing resonance with fans across our markets.”

In all, BeIN broadcasts F1 in 35 global markets. Back in 2024, the broadcaster struck a major 10-year-long tie-up with F1, running through the 2033 campaign, covering 25 territories across the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey.

This announcement comes just days after F1 also struck a three-year renewal of its broadcast deal with Disney-owned ESPN covering the Latin American and Caribbean regions.

This year's F1 season gets underway over the weekend of March 7 and 8 in Melbourne, Australia, and runs through 24 rounds until the final race in Abu Dhabi in early December.

The Singapore Grand Prix will take place on October 10 and 11 on a street circuit.
