LSU Athletics, the athletic and sporting program attached to Louisiana State University, has brought in Woodside Energy as its jersey patch partner in a historic tie-up.

This deal represents a first-of-its-kind agreement, with Woodside also coming on board as LSU Athletics' official legacy partner.

The firm's branding will thus appear on the apparel of LSU teams across all 21 varsity sports they compete in, starting with the 2026-27 athletic campaign.

In addition, Woodside will be allocated prominent signage at all LSU athletic venues, as well as a range of marketing assets across all the college's sports channels.

The partnership has been facilitated by Playfly Sports, the sports marketing and media firm, which is LSU's multimedia rights holder.

Further details about the agreement will be unveiled during the coming weeks.
