China and the Indian subcontinent are priority markets within NFF’s international commercial strategy, as it seeks to grow its audience and increase digital engagement.

Through this partnership, Druid Sport will support the federation in “developing market-specific commercial programmes aligned with local audiences and activation environments.”

Druid Sport will oversee NFF’s commercial strategy across China and the Indian subcontinent, with an on-the-ground presence in the region.

The Norway men’s side recently secured their first FIFA World Cup qualification in 28 years and the federation is seeking to grow its global commercial footprint with several high-profile players in their ranks, including Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland and Arsenal and national team captain Martin Odegaard.

Diarmuid Crowley, Druid Sport chief executive, said: “Our objective is to bring Norway’s national teams closer to millions of fans across these markets, while creating long-term, commercially credible opportunities for brands to work with one of Europe’s leading national team programmes.

“With our operations now established across key Asian markets, we are well-positioned to support this next phase of growth.”

Runar Pahr Andresen, NFF chief marketing officer, added: “China and the Indian subcontinent are central to our international commercial strategy. Both markets offer scale, growing interest in international football, and strong potential for long-term partnerships.

Druid Sport’s experience, combined with its on-the-ground presence across the region, gives us a strong platform to build meaningful relationships with brands and to strengthen our connection with fans across these markets.”

Last year, Druid Sport was also hired by the Argentine Football Association to serve as its exclusive commercial representative in China and the Indian subcontinent.
