International sports data technology provider Stats Perform has been appointed as the inaugural betting data and betting streaming rights distributor for global soccer's governing body, FIFA.
Through a multi-year tie-up unveiled today, London-based Stats Perform now holds exclusive rights to distribute data and streams to sportsbooks from a wide range of top-tier FIFA tournaments, including the upcoming 2026 men's FIFA World Cup (taking place in June and July), the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup between 2026 and 2029 (inclusive).

In addition, the deal gives Stats Perform exclusive betting rights to "thousands of matches per season" across various other FIFA competitions that are powered by the FIFA+ over-the-top platform.
The FIFA betting data is set to be collected and distributed by Stats Perform's RunningBall division, while the renowned Opta brand will provide (exclusively) "player statistics, insights, live scores, and trackers" to sportsbooks.
The men's World Cup later this year will be held across Mexico, the US, and Canada, while next year's women's iteration will run in Brazil. Both the US and Brazil are currently seeing exponential rises in sports betting levels.
Stats Perform also becomes a distribution partner of FIFA match streams to customers of those licensed sportsbook partners "in selected territories," including exclusive distribution rights to streams of the 2026 and 2027 World Cups. This will take place via the LiveStreams service run by Stats Perform.

In terms of Stats Perform's soccer rights activity in the last 12 months, the data tech heavyweight agreed an exclusive multi-year deal with Concacaf, soccer’s governing body across North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, last March.
The exclusivity covers top-tier Concacaf competitions such as the Gold Cup, the Nations League (within select territories), and the Champions Cup.
Last June, meanwhile, Stats Perform appointed experienced industry executive Miles Watson to the position of vice president of rights.
FIFA has, over the last few months, been signing up partners for the men's World Cup, which will run between June 11 and July 19.
Earlier this month, the soccer governing body agreed a “first-of-its-kind” content partnership with short-form video platform TikTok covering the upcoming 2026 men’s World Cup.
