The nascent World Sevens Football (W7F) women’s soccer tournament has announced five new sponsors for its first US edition, as it continues to build its profile.

Ahead of the tournament’s US debut today, organizers have named Invisalign, Ally Financial, Emburse, Mainelove, and StubHub as sponsors of the tournament – each of which has pledged to promote the competition through various activations.

The deals were brokered by Horizon Sports & Experiences (HS&E), the exclusive sponsorship and media rights advisory partner for the seven-a-side tournament.

Invisalign, the orthodontic brand, joins W7F as a founding partner and official global clear aligner partner, having sponsored the first edition of the competition in Portugal earlier this year.

The brand will create a content series highlighting players and activations at official W7F parties, with Invisalign branding appearing across tournament signage and all major broadcast graphics.

Ally Financial becomes the tournament’s official banking partner, gaining stadium signage and LED branding around the venue.

As the tournament’s official travel and expense technology platform partner, Emburse will also feature across LED boards and broadcast-visible assets.

The company will collaborate with posts on LinkedIn, including custom content and video storytelling featuring executives and leaders.

Canned water company Mainelove, meanwhile, joins the tournament as its official hydration partner, supplying its products to athletes, referees, media, and youth participants.  It will also activate in the fan zone, with content captured for W7F social platforms.

StubHub becomes the official direct issuance partner for the US edition, allowing W7F to directly list select primary ticket inventory, including general admission, party deck, and on-pitch seats, as well as VIP and three-day passes, on the StubHub platform.

Tickets will be available in the US and Canada via StubHub and internationally via Viagogo.

The second edition of W7F kicks off today and will be held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, until December 7, having secured wide coverage through its global broadcast partnership with sports streaming service DAZN.

DAZN will serve as the host broadcaster, providing full production of all 16 matches.

DAZN announced earlier this week that it will make its coverage of the tournament free on its digital offering globally, as well as on the DAZN Women’s Football YouTube channel in all eligible markets.

Pay-TV broadcaster TNT has been confirmed as the co-exclusive sublicensee partner in the US, along with Univision for Spanish-language programming in the US and Mexico, and ESPN throughout Latin America, Central America, and the Caribbean (excluding Mexico).

The inaugural edition of W7F took place in late May in Estoril, Portugal, with eight teams involved.

W7F was launched in late March. Clubs involved in the first edition included European soccer giants Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester City, and the total event had a prize pot of $5 million.

Games are played on a pitch half the size of those used for 11-per-side action and will last for 30 minutes in total, split into two 15-minute halves.

The second edition will also feature eight teams, all from outside Europe. The participating teams are Kansas City Current and San Diego Wave FC (United States), Club América and Club Tigres (Mexico), Flamengo (Brazil), Deportivo Cali (Colombia), AFC Toronto (Canada), and Nacional (Uruguay).
